Antivirus for Kerio Mail Server

Since most viruses and worms spread primarily through email, Kerio Mail Server scans each message across all delivery protocols, making sure that users can neither receive nor send any infected email.

Support for internal virus scanning makes Kerio Mail Server a secure shield against the spread of computer viruses. By checking both incoming and outgoing email, the risk of infecting external addressees is significantly decreased. The outgoing antivirus check is also performed on emails originating in and destined for the local network, which eliminates the risk of internal infection in cases where the virus does not enter the network via email. Antivirus scanning is done on the kernel level, which ensures that no message can bypass the antivirus software.

1. Kerio Mail Server with Integrated McAfee AntiVirus

The integrated McAfee AntiVirus component scans all incoming and outgoing email for viruses, and provides several benefits over a third party plug-in, including:

2. Avast! Plug-in for Kerio Mail Server

avast! for Kerio is a special version of avast! antivirus, designed exclusively to work with products developed by Kerio Technologies.

avast! for Kerio contains a simple user interface, offering you basic control of the program. Using this interface, you can also set the parameters for automatic updates.

The latest version of avast! antivirus kernel features excellent detection capabilities, combined with high performance (data throughput). You can expect 100% detection of ITW viruses/worms (In-The-Wild, viruses already spreading) and excellent detection of Trojan horses.

The kernel is certified by ICSA, and frequently takes part in the tests of Virus Bulletin magazine, yielding the VB100% award multiple times.
