Urgent Updates will automatically notify and update the VisNetic MailScan definitions as they become available. Using the Urgent Update utility ensures that applications utilizing VisNetic MailScan are up-to-date.

For MDaemon
Urgent Update Emails will be sent to the POSTMASTER address of the domain name you register under. Note that you will need to set up a content filter in MDaemon to enable the urgent update.

For SMTP
Urgent Update Emails will be sent to the POSTMASTER address of the domain name you register under. Please note, your mail server must be configured to recognize urgent update notification emails and upon receipt, initiate the urgent update executable.
